Our experience on the 3 day trek was one of the best experiences of my life. The scenery was breathtaking. Antilco went above and beyond and rearranged the trek over the Easter weekend so that we could catch good weather and actually see …

If you want to go horse-riding in Pucon, this is BY FAR the best place to go. The horses are treated amazingly, only work once a day and not the entire week. The ride offers adventure, scenery, good conversations. They try their best to …

I would highly recommend this trip.
Did a 4 day trek to the Volcanoes and I loved every minute of it. The staff is extremely nice and professional, from the selection of the horses for the riders down to the preparation of our meals, the horses are the best (I still want to take Lucero home), and the presence of Luis added just that little extra huasa feeling to the trip. Thanks everyone, and especially Judy and Hannah! Chris M
Incredible once in a lifetime experience
After a half day tour with Antilco I was hooked, extending my stay in Pucón to join the 3 day trek on horseback through Villarrica National Park for a once in a lifetime opportunity to cross the greater Andes on horseback. It was an incredible experience - stunning terrain and vistas - on day 2 we were surrounded by 5 volcanoes and eyed by not 1 but 5 condors! With well paced with careful personal and supportive attention from the wonderful guide Kim and the quiet assurance of our Chileno guide Luis, I loved every second of this amazing journey to see some of the most beautiful parts of our world. The horses are very well cared for - the most important factor for me. An asado BBQ in the garden topped off a perfect trip Thank you to the fantastic Antilco team. Georgie Passalaris
A dream for all that have a passion for riding and nature
Over New Year's I've done the "Crossing the Andes" tour with Mathias, Hernan and their experienced and engaging teams. It was phenomenal from what we saw, how we got treated, where we rode, stayed overnight to the wonderful people we had around us (Alexandra, Tilly....and the other riders... just great to be with all the time) to the some of the finest horses I've ridden. I've been riding for over 30 years and I love the challenge of technical rides and working with a horse - and both got delivered upon. Fantastic what we did over the 9 days and how the horses responded and worked with us. A top notch experience!! Thank you. martinaj173
...thank you and your staff for their hard work and professionalism that made it truly a trip of a lifetime.

Dear Ale and Mathias,
I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful day you gave us in Pucón! We had heard from various travelers that the cabalgata is something you simply can't miss while in the area. Alejandra was an excellent guide; she was perfectly fluent, and was both funny and kind in English and in Spanish. She taught me to "relax" (something that's often hard for us Americans!), and made me feel much more comfortable on a horse than I have in years. There is something unforgettable about galloping alongside a river with the three volcanoes in view. I really wish we had time for a longer trek across the Andes. Thank you so much for a wonderful day! -Claire
Hi Mathias!
...now that we are back home, I wanted to say thank you for the days we spent on your farm and with Alejandra in the mountains. It was truly a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our travel in Chile and Argentina. All in all the entire trek was wonderful. We'd love to return immediately, we just have to save the money!...

Testimonials about the Chile - Argentina Ride
Hi Matthias I just wanted to write a brief note to thank you for the hard work you put in on the recent horse trek. The feedback from the group members has been tremendous, and people have been very impressed with the standards and quality of service which you provided. I hope that the large group was not too much of an issue in the end, and that you would consider doing a similar trek for us in the future.
Wanted to thank you for a wonderful trip! I´ve been riding all my life, my own horses, and other horses while traveling for sight-seeing, and I must tell you that your 6 day trail ride offered the best trail riding of my life! Your horses are truly amazing, willing and well mannered while your staff very obliging and it is clear in the details how committed you are all to a wonderful experience. I´m newly in love with the Chilean saddle. So much so, that I bought one today on my way out of town! I´m looking forward to coming back (maybe this fall?) for more riding, and perhaps to study Spanish. When I get home, I´m going to send you a photo of my Thoroughbred with his new Chilean saddle! =) Thank you all again!
My brother and I took the “Crossing the Andes” trip in December 2009. It was a fantastic experience in every way. .... Antilco had carefully selected appropriate horses for our riding level based on the information we provided them before the trip. ... They were spirited and fun to ride. The trails were amazing and dramatic. Our Chilean guides (Aldo and Lena) were excellent. Aldo knew the area like the back of his hand and told funny stories about his experiences. ... We had wonderful campsites tucked away in the mountains, by gurgling creeks, by scenic lakes and in the highlands. The food was great – .... And the readily available Chilean and Argentinean wine was a very welcome surprise. The second phase of the trip was with Hernan and Jose in Argentina. ... The contrast in the terrain was amazing. Suddenly we were riding in wide-open spaces where you could see forever – with active volcanoes in the background. Throughout the entire trip we did not see another tourist. In fact, we didn’t see very many Chileans or Argentineans as we were in very remote areas. We also learned (with some help) how to outfit our horses with both Chilean and Argentine saddles, bridles, and saddle bags. .... It was the trip of a lifetime, and I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who enjoys riding and wants to reach some of the most remote and beautiful places in the world. ... we loved the trip. Thank you for making it possible. Almost to good to be true: Read the full text.
Mathias, Well we all have arrived home and settled into the grind. I know you would be missing our correspondence so I thought I should drop you a line. We all had a great time and enjoyed every minute of the adventure. We are glad we all did it and would not have changed a thing, all the events we incurred on our travel made it such a great and memorable trip. Also if you get me the specs for Aldo glasses I will send him some funky replacements. Keep in touch. Yours truly, Brad
