Getting to know and better understanding of horses and the work around them is the aim of this program. As we deal with them in care taking situations and on the paddocks we will get more and more comfortable around them. You observe and help Cesar working a new horse in the round pen, you get to know the tools and skills to shoe a horse, watching and helping. You will go on 3 -4 hour rides and have exercises on the paddock.
According to your wishes and needs you can either participate in a 3-4 hours ride or take some exercises in the paddock and field: exercises include bareback riding, trot, canter, gallop, giving signals to your horse using your position/ shifting weight. In both activities you participate in and learn how to prepare the horses, putting on saddle and tack.
After getting the horses from the paddock you watch and assist in shoeing the horses; we explain the why and how, you get to know the tools and materials and in the end may nail your first shoe.
